“Thank you JAC Photography….we love all the shots…!!! Fantastic job and great company….” – Nurul thru Facebook.
Oct 1, Congratulations to Nurul and Sudirman on your wedding. JAC is very fortunate to be chosen to capture your wedding at the Parkroyal Penang Resort. We truly enjoyed capturing the moments of your wedding right from the morning till the late evening. Both of you were remarkable and fun to work with. Your sincere and warm smiles and love can be felt in every photos. Fun filled experience from portrait shooting, silat performance of the “Raja Sehari”, the traditional beating of “kompang” and beautifully decorated hall with “pelamin” on stage and autumn themed. Thanks to the wedding planner – De’Zara and make up artist Sharqc Tengku for making the event looks fantastic and perfect. Here is a video highlights of the wedding portraits of the beautiful couple Nurul and Sudirman played during the wedding reception. May your love grows like the “wedding tree” and bear lots of love and fruitful family. Your Passionate Photographers christopher | tecksiong | timmy firstname.lastname@example.org
They were many short video clips which my wife shot with her little point & shoot camera while I was having the photo session with Rusydi & Fadillah. It interesting when I started to put them into a video like this. Then people would know how much sweat it actually take to get a nice photo. And how fun is it to have a photo session. And don’t forget the satisfaction when viewing the end result! Enjoy the video! For photos of this event, checkout my previous blog post here! It’s my honor to be selected by Fadillah & Rusydi among all the other photographers whom they had considered. This is my second time covering a Malay traditional wedding. Moreover, I had the chance to cover one of the most important part of the wedding – the Akad Nikah (solemnization)! It was a fun experience I had with Sydi & Fadillah. Sydi managed to obtain the permission to shoot in one of the most beautiful mosque in the world – Masjid Zahir. Check out the Wiki of the mosque here! It was a great experience to me as a photographer. We had also spent an evening in front of the beautiful Palace of Sultan Kedah for some night portraits. The huge front gate look really grand! Running around and taking photos at the paddy field was also another tiring yet fun experience. Now, feel free to scroll down for a few of my favorite shots of the day! They are also the couple’s favorite shots! ~ Your Passionate Photographer ~ tecksiong +6 O12 25O 93O3 firstname.lastname@example.org
It’s now approaching the end of the third quarter. Looking back at the past quarters, it seems like JAC had been serving quite a few couples from other countries and different cultural backgrounds this year. From the West, we had couples from France, Italy & Britain. And from the South, we had couple from Australia. It took us a short while to get used to the different English slang, especially when the first conversation was normally through the phone, with the absence of body language. But we enjoyed very much the learning experience. Learning the wedding customs from different countries and different expectations on our work. From the nearby countries, we had couples from Indonesia & Singapore. Also not to forget our Malaysian couples with different cultural backgrounds! It was a great experience to withness some of the traditional wedding ceremony that we seldom see nowadays. Many couples often prefer a more simplified wedding ceremony. If u’d not had enough, feel free to click into the full gallery here. Â ~ Teck Siong ~
I had been trying to figure out how to post a picture on this blog. Things are so hard when you don’t know how. I used to be using the Blogger.com, a product from my favourite company – Google. Unfortunately, our blog has not been setup on that platform Anyway, I was just trying to share the first Muslim wedding that I’d recently done. After venturing into wedding photography for more than 1 year, I had finally given the opportunity to serve this couple. Thanks to Christopher for inviting me to tag along We attempted a couple of new techniques with Fahmida & Irshath. I personally love all the photos taken. Fahmida’s dress was very nice and the location was very attractive too – it’s the famous Penang E&O Hotel, one of my (and many others) favourite spot for photography. Even though Irshath was a bit stiff at the beginning, we manage to ‘loosen up’ him and had him smile like a kid  Since I haven’t figured out how to post a picture here, maybe I just share this link to our gallery. It should be very easy to spot this album that I have been talking about. Have […]
