[Baby Cheng Jun from Singapore …] Malaysia Baby Photographer
Kent & Kelly, my good old schoolmates, stop-by Penang to visit us and some relatives. It was great to have them staying over at my place. We managed to catch-up a lot, chit-chatting until late at night. And the babies enjoyed interacting with each other too… I wanted to have a photo session with Cheng Jun as a gift before they leave. But due to their tight schedule, we only managed to squeeze out 2 hours before their departure back to Singapore for this quick photo session. With the limited time and limited preparation, this is what I got. Preparing the baby, snapping the photos, plus post processing, had only taken us not more than 2 hours. It was the fastest delivery I ever made for baby portraiture! I wish we could have enough time to include the handsome daddy & pretty mommy as well. Looking forward for their next visit to Penang. ~ Your Passionate Photographer ~ tecksiong +6 O12 25O 93O3 tecksiong@jacphoto2u.com

[Baby Rhys from Australia …] Malaysia Baby Photographer
There was one evening I received an enquiry from Daryl. He told me his family will be flying in from Australia to visit some relatives and he would like to engage me to take a family portraiture with his baby. Even though this is not the first time I am serving clients from overseas, I still felt very excited & honored, that my work is appreciated by clients from other countries. I wish to thank Daryl & Pheony for their trust and patients starting since our cross-country discussion and throughout the photo session (despite the humid weather). I enjoyed myself a lot that morning and I hope u all did too. [Candid Portraits @ IKEA …] Malaysia Kids Photographer
I enjoyed photographing Xuan Xuan last time at The Curve. She was walking around in the crowd alone while I was photographing her. But that was limited in an open-air compound. This time, I employed the same concept but challenged myself with a more dynamic environment. I brought my daughter to IKEA. I let her walked around, literally the whole store, and explored by herself while I was photographing her. The light was constantly changing. I had to adjust my exposure settings very quickly. Not a single strobe was used. Every shot was captured with any available light. I had to be light and agile, that’s why the whole session was done with only one lens – 35mm. And the result? I am satisfy 🙂 What do you think? Do share with me. Thanks for viewing! ~ Your Passionate Photographer ~ tecksiong | O12-25O93O3 contactus@jacphoto2u.com
[Ethan & Elliot The Brothers …] Malaysia Kids Photographer
It’s always challenging when there are more than one kids in one photo session. For the past few sessions like the one with SzeRu & SzeJin, Keerrthigha & Keerrthini and Evelyn & Eunice, at least one of each pairs is a girl. This session with Ethan & Elliot is the first time I have 2 boys at once. Boys are usually more aggressive. Luckily, I have Ethan, a calm, polite and caring elder brother. He performed most of the pose I requested, almost precisely what I had in mind. Furthermore, he takes good care of his younger brother, Elliot, throughout the session. It turned out to be a great session that day. I had a lot of fun and I am sure Ethan & Elliot too were enjoying too. [Simyi is 93 days-old! ] Malaysia Baby Photographer
It was Mothers’ Day. It’s the first time my wife celebrating Mothers’ Day for herself. Just like many mothers, one of the present she had always wanted is some beautiful photos for her own child. That’s when the photographer Daddy would be very useful. It wasn’t a fully prepared session. We just grabbed some props and headed to a park near our house. It was a Sunday evening when many families were there at the park. We found a spot at the park but there was another Daddy who was also doing portraiture for his few months old daughter. That was a popular spot. We ‘queued’ for a while for our turn. As usual, I was lying completely on the floor in order to be at the same eye level with my baby. People at the park who had never seen how a photo session being conducted before were staring at my unusual act (lying on the floor in the public 😛 ). [My Own Newborn …] Malaysia Baby Photographer
Hello all! It had almost been a month I had not been posting. I have been busy with another major priority of life – my own newborn! There was really a lot of sweat with all the diapers changing and feeding (not me 😛 ). But on the fun side, I get to photograph my ‘private’ model everyday and anytime I want! [Baby Isaac …] Malaysia Baby Photographer
Photographing baby boy seems to be more challenging, especially an aggressive one. Issac was initially very cool and quiet when he first saw me. He was observing me carefully and trying to approach me and my camera. Slowly, he got warmed up and started to run around, showing me his toys and books. We became friends! I would like to thank Sue & Terence for putting their trust on my skill. Initially, I felt a bit tension when I learned that Sue knows many great commercial photographers through her work. But it was my honor to learn that Sue appointed me because she was looking for different style, something different from what she often sees in work. “Candid Portraits” is what I call my style 🙂 ~ Your Passionate Baby Photographer ~ tecksiong +6 O12 25O 93O3 tecksiong@jacphoto2u.com
